Using headphones with a long lead has many advantages; usually producing higher quality sound and with better acoustic qualities than the alternatives. They are much cheaper than radio headphones and offer far more freedom of movement than short length headphones. This long lead advantage is also a drawback - it might be quite intrusive, obstructing the user's hands and chair, and even imposing a safety hazard. My way around all these problems is shown in this video clip and it truly resolves them. All it takes are 3-4 binder clips, a weight and 5 minutes to build it.
